Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter
- $16.99 or less
- 8 ounces of product
- Formulated with sweet almond milk and honey for moisture, along with olive, macadamia, pumpkin seed and jojoba oils.
- Can be used on wet or dry hair for twisted or braided styles, but is also suggested as a wash-n-go product.
- Lots of slip and concentrated.
- Available at Target and Walmart.
Mizani True Textures Curl Define Pudding
- $18 or less
- 8 ounces of product
- Infused with olive, coconut and marula oils for moisture and shine and is designed to be applied to wet hair.
- Can be used for twisting, wash-n-gos or coiling.
- Concentrated formula developed specifically for textured hair.
- Wide range of availability online, including stores like JC Penney, where the price is often much lower.
Oyin Homemade boing! All-In-One Coil Styler
- $14.99
- 4 ounces of product
- Whipped texture with shea fruit butter, glycerin, honey, coconut and jojoba oil.
- Designed for finger styling with curls and coils or twist-outs.
- Available at Target and select Sally Beauty Supply stores.
- It is really handmade as the name says. Each batch is mixed by hand versus machine manufacturing.
- Variation from batch to batch can happen because people are not as precise as machines. This is explained in their FAQs at oyinhandmade.com.
- You only get 4 ounces of product, so you may find yourself repurchasing often.
